We are happy to announce that Mykolas Romeris University has decided to go ahead with exchanges in Academic year 2021-2022 and you are more than welcome to join us in September for your exchange period.
In Autumn we are planning to resume study process into a regular in-class teaching, but it will remain as blended learning (some students in class, some staying remotely using Moodle learning environment) in majority of courses, therefore in case it happens that student does not arrive due to mobility restrictions, he/she will be able to start all classes from home country until arrival – which means that no students will miss any teaching. Classes in Vilnius will be held “online” in real time (Eastern European Time (EET) zone) according to the approved schedule, remote assessment will be available as well.
As the future is still uncertain, we will closely monitor the situation and inform about all updates our students and partners.
We are waiting for the nomination of the students by 20 May at the latest and encourage all of our incoming students to prepare the required documents for their applications till 30 May, but to refrain from making any (non-refundable) costs until our update. We will inform the students about this as well.
Currently there are no travel and/or border restrictions in place. Upon arrival, students are expected to adhere to the National Health Center safety measures to prevent further spread of the coronavirus (the period of self-isolation is from 7 to 14 days). All updates available at koronastop.lrv.lt/en/
We expect that the situation will develop positively, and our students will enjoy their exchange at MRU without any restrictions. We will make sure to keep you updated on our policy and situation in the coming months.
All updates will be posted here.
